AWARDED TENDER - Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre

CME Sports Lighting has been awarded the major lighting upgrade at Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre in Homebush, Sydney NSW.

The contract is based on removing the existing metal halide light fittings & installing new 400watt LED light fittings.

This will be the first time that a tennis tournament will be telecasted live on national television under LED lighting anywhere around the world.

The CME Sports Lighting team are honoured to play a major role in such a significant lighting project, which will be the focus of sporting clubs around the world.

 

The upgrade includes:

          • Installation of underground electrical reticulation
          • Installation of 10 x 12m light towers
          • Installation of 4 x 15m light towers
          • Installation of modified head frames to suit additional light fittings on the light towers
          • Modifications to concrete footings to suit new light arrangement on the light towers
          • Installation of 104 x 400watt LED light fittings
          • Replace 40 x metal halide lamps in the Ken Rosewall court
          • Modifications to existing distribution boards
          • Aiming/focusing & illumination testing
